No 25-storey condo tower in San Francisco By Bay!

SR&R, the developer promoting the so-called San Francisco By Bay project (Yes, in Pickering, not San Francisco!), wants to build a 25-storey tower in addition to the 18- and 16-storey condos and townhouses already approved over the objections of many local residents.

Mayor Dave Ryan, Councillor Dougie Dickerson and others on council are surely going to put the interests of the neighbourhood first and prevent Bay Ridges from becoming a jungle of concrete and glass with traffic, safety, health and environmental problems—and still no grocery store.

Ross Pym, Pickering's principal planner, and his staff are surely going to recommend against such a monstrosity being erected in an already overcrowded corner of Bay Ridges.
