Bayshore Towers: The only condo in all of Pickering with a magnificent view of Frenchman's Bay and Lake Ontario.If you're new to Pickering, don't believe the propaganda in the advertisements you may have seen about the development on Bayly at St. Martin's.
This definitely is not San Francisco. This is South Pickering, more specifically, Bay Ridges, a wonderful neighbourhood that has existed on the shores of Frenchman's Bay for many years.
The only building in Bay Ridges with a million-dollar view of the bay and Lake Ontario is Bayshore Towers.
We've been here 30 years, and we'll be here another 30 years and then some. Don't believe anyone who says Bayshore Towers will disappear so the folks in the new development can have a view. It ain't gonna happen!
We figure the folks in the so-called San Francisco By The Bay development facing north will have an excellent look at busy Bayly Street, the CN and GO railroad tracks and the always busy 401. We hope the traffic noise won't get them down. The folks facing south, well, most of them will have an excellent view of the backside of Bayshore Towers.

Bayshore Towers has a million dollar view of the bay & lake ontario! That's great in all, BUT it's the absolute biggiest eye sore in all of Pickering. This building is so F#$%ing UGLY, I wish they'd tear it down and build a nicer high rise. San Fran By the bay is going to be one of the best communities in Pickering. There's so many nice area's in Pickering, especially down by the lake.
Yes, you've been there for 30 years. The new balconies look, GREAT. The rest of the building shows its age, you might even call in Pickering's GHETTO.
In a nutshell. Bayshore Tower should be demolished, just like the plaza was...& build something modern.
